Voyager Celebrates 35 Years

This week’s post is perhaps off my usual beat of computational technologies, but I have been been captivated by Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 since their launches all those years ago.
These two videos are part of the Jet Propulsion Laboratory’s celebration of the 35-year anniversary of the Voyager spacecraft, which conducted a Grand Tour of the planets and are now headed inexorably into interstellar space, where they are sending back unique data on the properties of the very outer reaches of the interplanetary  medium. The videos include panel discussions, insider stories about designing the planetary tour, and scientific findings.
